Draco Constellation

Draco is the oldest of the three permanent star constellations of Alanspace. This is not due to the constellation existing before the others, but rather it has remained consistently having the same iconography across cultures and time. This has led many to believe some ancient culture recognized the permanent nature of the stars within this cluster and recorded it. Information that spread through the prehistoric periods somehow. That or everyone just sees the wings of a Dragon in the constellation.

Draco consists of seven stars spread widely across the sky. It can be seen clearly year-round but is most prominent during the transition centuries as the Celestial Cycle travels for one age into the next. At the midpoint of the Cycle, when Juva sits between Aldern and Draco the phenomenon called the Eye of Alu appears briefly.
