Aimane

The center of it all, This world will never fall. Long on earth been here, now in human sphere. lands of old are so alluring, will always and forever be enduring, Thy shall travel to worlds far away, enter the realm of great Aimane.

~unkown, BP 14 advertisement for the Great Migration

Geography

Aimane consists of two major landmasses, Mirvania, in the east, and the land in the west, which over time has been the only land to colloquially carry the name of Aimane, even though the entire continent is named as such.

Mirvania

Mirvania has no remarkable anomalies in its coastline save for the peninsula of and is in essence a great, shapeless mass of land.. It's climates and biomes are very diverse. the northern third and the south of the continent are split by a large mountain range, The Imroden. The lands north of this mountain range are sometimes called Grahni Mirvania after the de jure Grahni annexation of these lands. Whatever name it carried in the Mirvani tongue are now lost to time, however, as much as the knowledge of its land is to contemporary sources. More than old tales which tell of pine forests, cold wastes and icy tundras cannot be confirmed.    South of the Imroden lies the Great Waste of Mirvania; These lands have been scorched by dragon fire long ago, and whatever might grow there far in the east, beyond the edge of the world, is unknown to us now. Fairytales speak of pirates on the east coast who have rebuilt Aerhold, but this is disregarded by scholars as pirates require rich trade routes to pray upon, and none have sailed past the white sea for over a thousand years now. The great waste has nothing; no lakes, no rivers, no forests or green fields. It is desolate, and naught can be found in it but the ash and dust of the fires ignited during the war of the burning sea.   The far south of Mirvania, further south than Aimane, has a peninsula pointing north, called Kangolar. These fertile lands have been cultivated to an extent similar to the Elkhorn plain.

Aimane

Aimane lies in the west of the continent. the western part is actually a big peninsula, being sent outward of the rest the continent. this is the only area known to be settled by humans. It is geographically diverse, with three large mountain ranges cutting through it. Its coastline twists and turns, forming large bays and capes. In the further description this specific portion of Aimane will be focusing on this Side of the continent.

Fauna & Flora

Mirvania

many information about Mirvania's wildlife has gone lost over the ages, although some is known about it's biomes. The south of Mirvania consists of snow plains in the west, and in the east massive forests of Felonwort. the two are divided by a taiga of around a 100 km wide. the South is divided from the north by a mountain range. what lies in the north is unknown. Just as in the south, many speculations go around of what can be found north of these mountains. What lies here, is a secret.

Morgate

Morgate lies around the world's equator. it extends north and south from there. In the middle lies a large rainforest, called the Gnawth by the inhabitants. South of it is a mountain range, wich splits the Rainforest from the Southern Derendoran deserts. to the south east are the savanna's of Etaliron. To the North of the Gnawth are large steppes. it
