What is the source of the forest's supernatural nature?

• Wrakka are a major part of the growth of the forests
• The combination of Alrauna and Hexen
• TK Brimstone Gigantism causes the trees and rock formations to be 3-8x higher than usual
• TK Nine Lit Nights In Eskern, like other forests, time flows differently once you get past a certain area, in Eskern, one year outside passes for every nine in Eskern. Thus people rule Eskern for what is essneitally a lifetime within the forest before leaving and finding they've only spent nine years.

• Red Queen Law: The Relentless Tread - The Blood Queen which Anchors the Eskern Forest is named Braelen
• The law of constant adaptation, it is the anchor created by a Wrakka and Double Walker, in this case Braelen, she is a Halfwing who is constantly shifting the direction of the wind in violent ways as well as inverting the Ph of the rivers at the source of her shrine on a hill (this is where Garnet Lily's shrine is too)
• Black Queen Law: The Shared Burden - The Bone King which Anchors the Eskern Forest is named Galu
• The law of offloading necessity onto others, specialization and interdependence, it is the anchor of Sided Magic and creates genetic diversity through taking, in this case, it is Galu, he is a Vespula who controls the wind only during the Indifferent Suns (eclipses), in which rifts cause massive genetic shifts, with the glossy leaves of the Eskern Forest able to sheild the Eclipse radiation.
• Thus, due to the ability to protect from the Shared Burden (except for needed exceptions) and the localized shifts in chemical compositions, the Eskern Forest has some of the oldest growth in the area, and the Myacoris being home to just North of it see Eskern as their homeland

The dominant plants and Wrakka are tough, low growing shrubs, the foliage dark and berries as well, old evaporite pools and dead trees among a new grove of cypress Wrakka and Alrauna settlement with black-eyed susans sparsely, with Sunstalks (Massive sunflowers that cast huge shadows)
• Gorse and wrist-willows (ankle willows), a lot of Coriniaid actually inhabit here alongside warbands of Myacoris, Kubeleya, and Halfwings
• Lots of Wyva here, sometimes these are built on like, petrified trees which grew together and became their own plateaus
• Sanguine Bromeliade
• Multi layored canopy, bromeliads and pineapples and things like that everywhere (fire-flowers), waxy flowers, the most dangerous of the Southern Alrauna plants
• Air plants that can just attach to anything and live anywhere
• Orchids, lillies, and insects based on them. Most of the insects are these
• Locii home, horror hens, flying foxes, flitterfoxes too - very populated
• Phelgmatic Peatland
• Notably in East Eskern
