Lesser Field
A large section of the Milky Way. The Lesser Field is not named after its size, but its distinct lack of native sophonts.
Due to its insignificance in the Milky Way, and the disregard of life in the region, many of the galaxy's most powerful species are attempting to claim as many planets as possible, for resource, territory, or other reasons.
