Elexen

Elexen has transformed into an industrial powerhouse. What were flourishing regions have turned into sparse deadlands, inhabited by the iron-hearted factories that mass produce materials sold around the galaxy.
— Excerpt from an Elexan textbook

Elexen is one of over three hundred planets in the Galanti Cluster. Elexen supplies avdanced machinery to civilisations across the solar system, as well as refining raw resources imported from throughout the Milky Way.

While elexians can be found across the galaxy, they originated on this planet. Elexians transformed their home into one giant machine, feeding off the planet's core. Elexen's spaceport hangs in orbit, controlling who and what enters the atmosphere.

Elexen suffers from angry, vindictive spirits of the natural world that once existed. These spirits tamper with the planet's titanic machines, and a single fault can cost millions to repair. Angry flame spirits take over grand furnaces, setting fire to entire buildings in a burning fury. Some see it as a spectacle, others as an incredible burden.

You know that like, every single machine in your house was made on Elexen, right? That dishwasher, washing machine, hair and tail dryer, cooker and freezer, illuminator, chromatic garden, pretty much anything anyone has, they make. They have one of the biggest industrial monopolies in the galaxy.   I'm a fan, but I know they're pretty controversial. Have you seen old photos of what Elexen used to look like. It's unreal. I can't imagine treating my home like that. There's not a single tree on the planet, no blade of grass, nothing. Even the atmosphere is artificial.
