History of Christmas Valley

Pre-History

Before there was Christmas Valley, it was the long-held sacred spot of all Winter Deities. Father Winter was lord of over all the other deities of the season of Winter.   Milennia after milennia, they live alone but together. All of them up here although sometimes the go to Antartica but after bases were built, they don't.  

Arrival of Santa Claus and Creation of Christmas Valley

It is 345AD. Nicholas Claus becomes Father Christmas, Guardian of Wonder also known as Santa Claus. He left Heathdorei Allaner Shlefnor and flew to somewhere.   Unknown to him, he went north. Way north. Father Winter knew where they were going and had actually told his Winter Clan to stay away until he could get word to them.   The entire group arrive at The North Pole. It was late. All sleep with Nicholas dreaming. In the morning, the leaders come and all create what would be known as Christmas Valley Valley. Standing in the valley, Santa’s Toy Workshop Compound is there wating on Nicholas to begin making toys for all children around the globe.  

Arrival of Gertrude Claus and Wedding

Nicholas felt that he wanted, no needed, to share this life with someone. It was time to be bound in Holy Matrimony but to who? Who should he marry?   Gertrude Claus is living in Washington, D.C. and is asking the same question. She feels deep within her heart that she had already met her soulmate but simply couldn’t remember. No one else feels right to Gertrude though. It is now August 24th in 1814, the day when the British will burn down the Presidential Mansion (White House). President James Madison and key officials flee. However, Redcoats {British Soldiers} were quartered into the McBride home by force. Unluckily, this happened to other families! A wretched officer makes lewd advances towards Gertrude. She says no each time. Finally, the refusal makes this officer feel deeply insulted to his own bloated ego. The officer then takes Gertrude shoving her up the stairs and into her bedroom. She is then thrown onto her bed. The troop shows no better behavior towards the situation laughing at the expense of the family. They are holding the parents back. Santa soon shows up. He then knocks out the officer temporarily. Gertrude hears the thud. She rises to sit and when she looks at Nicholas. The first day of a baby floods back to her memories! She remembers the Anti-Claus taking her and then Santa bringing her back. Gertrude began to blush and in surprise to how attractive this older, yet extremely handsome, guy. She describes the bond as feeling beyond anything describable. Nicholas tells her that in all of his centuries he has never have had this emotional connection to anyone. They hug then kiss. Literal metaphysical energy sparks crackled as their auras make one. The lady was pure of spirit and genuinely believed in him and the Mission that he knew his secrets were safe and that everybody would come to accept her as the Mother of Christmas and Queen of the North Pole. They talk for ten minutes. Gertrude is amazed at the truth of Magic and the mystical community being real and Nicholas’s life. Soon thereafter, they hear footsteps. Nicholas turns into magical Christmas energy. He knocks out all the soldiers. And appears right next to Gertrude at the bottom. Daniel and Janey are equally glad at seeing Nicholas again. Nicholas says they are soulmates and as he has fallen for Gertrude, asks Daniel’s permission to marry her. Mrs. and Mr. McBride immediately approve the marriage. Santa decides to now clean the capital. Using his full abilities, he made a huge storm forcefully driving out the Redcoats {British Soldiers}. Before leaving, he tells his fiancée that he will get her on Christmas Day. He then returned home using his sleigh. For the rest of the year, the elves made toys. On Christmas Eve, Santa delivered all toys and gifts. Then he heads to pick up Gertrude. Daniel, Janey and Gertrude wait patiently. All three hear sleigh bells shortly before sunrise. They look in the sky. As promised, Nicholas flew back to Washington, DC for Gertrude but apologizes for his lateness. Santa loads the luggage on board. Gertrude climbs up onto the sleigh. Her parents wish them a Very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Santa flicked the reins which propelled them into the air. Arriving up north, Gertrude spots the protective glacial wall of magic. They enter the wall and are seen by the elves. Santa guides the sleigh to land at the house. The elves take the sleigh and reindeer to their home. After the luggage is unloaded, both people sleep. They wake up in time for the celebratory lunch feast prepared by The Christmas Elves. The party goes into the night when Nicholas and Gertrude see the Northern Lights in the sky. Before the New Year Celebration, Nicholas and Gertrude sit down without elves running around to further discuss the mythical world. Sandman, Cupid, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, Mother Goose, Father Winter, Mother Nature, Father Time, and Father Christmas with his wife-to-be as well as Queens Austral and Boreal all gather in The Realm of Time. After celebrating, all are invited to Mother Nature’s metaphysical realm. March of 1815 comes. The time comes to plan their wedding. All Rulers of Magic all show up. They want to help. Father Time and Mother Nature already volunteered to be co-officiants. The rest said they will gather decorations. Nicholas thanked them all. His wife had no dress, but they said it will also be taken care of. The couple makes an unexpected return to her parents’ house. Inviting her parents to the workshop, they said yes to having Christmas away from the political battlefield of Washington, D.C. They then spent two nights to educate her parents on the mystical realm. It was July of 1815 when all thirteen Rulers and Gertrude go into the Cavern of Christmas Spirit (full name: Cavern of the Great Christmas Crystals). Nicholas is blindfolded and all surround Gertrude. With all mystic objects in hand, the Rulers create a dress fit for royalty! The Rulers and wife-to-be appear back in the bedroom at the workshop. Nicholas and Jack leave the room. Jack shuts the door. The blindfold comes off after leaving Nicholas unaware of the true beauty the dress brings out in the wife-to-be. The elves now decorate for Christmas and the wedding. With Thanksgiving on the way, Nicholas makes sure Jack and the elves can ready the toys and goodies. Thanksgiving comes. Nicholas, Gertrude, Daniel, and Janey all have a great time. They finalize the trip up north. Nicholas asks the elven head in Heathdorei to send a few helpers for house-siting his soon-to-be-wife’s childhood home. He says yes. Back at the Pole, all ready for the arrival of her parents and all in the midst of the chaos with Christmas and the wedding. Nick picks up the parents on the 18th and drives them to his home. They meet all residents, Magic Council, and see the whole workshop. It becomes the Solstice/Wedding Day in 1815. This hour-long ceremony ends with Father and Mother Christmas kissing. Father Time announces that the couple are now Mr. and Mrs. Claus, both Rulers of Christmas (King and Queen of the Christmas Realm, Father and Mother of Christmas). The Enchanted Collective granted her immortality as well. The crowd cheers while the couple walk to the sleigh. Due to Heaven’s blessing, the Four Highest Celestial Angels (Arch-archangels) descend from Heaven and attend ascending back up afterwards. Another parade around the workshop compound ends with dinner and dancing. They all soon either leave or fall asleep. Nicholas and his wife plan a honeymoon after Christmas. Christmas comes once again! This is Mrs. Claus’s first polar Christmas! She decides to build a snowman. Unknowingly, she creates a snowman who becomes sentient due to the presence of Mother Gaia, Mother Nature, Father Winter and the Spirit of Christmas. Mrs. Claus names him Frosty the Christmas Snowman. Santa comes home to find a new presence, a new individual with the others. Frosty is warmly welcomed into the Christmas Beings Family. His home will be a house in the forest close to Father Winter’s Ice Castle. The New City of Christmas and a New Parliament 1,500 years pass. Nicholas and Gertrude have been married for three decades. Ever since the beginning, the workshop has expanded a few times. But Nicholas feels it is time to create the city. The Rulers tell Nicholas they shall dream of something befitting a truly beloved figure yet unrivaled and exceptionally rare. All gather over the months to build a village. This creation of a wondrous village displays captures Christmas Spirit and unique architecture! Gertrude Claus is there, along with all of the residents, when the Rulers raise their magical objects and say the spell with a Christmas twist! This spell brings winds of snow and of magic into the valley as a tornado. Hours pass. Right as all feel like giving up, beams of magical power shoot out. The whole landscape exposed itself to visibility.   The new headqaurters for Santa, Center of Christmas Magic and Spirit City, appears inducing the feeling exploration amongst the Christmas and Claus Elves and Christmas and Claus Flyers and even Gertrude Claus and Nicholas Claus. The Legendary Guardians of Childhood seek out each and every corner to famliiarize themselves with the new Heart of Christmas.   With reindeer attached to sleighs, the entire tribe floods into the entire city. They work inward from the edge of the forest. In the center, it is approved by all as worthy of Santa Claus and Spirit of Christmas.   However, a sight unseen reveals itself! A building floating above the North Pole Christmas Empire causes the Rulers to wonder and so they and Gertrude silently teleport from the center of the city.   This new building, Ancient Mystic Life Grand Center of Operations, is now the home and headquarters of Collective Congress of Ancient Power and any future councils. After all explore, High Royalty of Christmas explore their new home, Enchantment of Noel Grand Palace. In the coming weeks, the formation of Great Christmas Parliament and certain elves were introduced as new directors of a department. At this point, the Prophecy of Power is known to all Rulers and Gertrude. And soon they will welcome him to the valley!   Baxter' first trip goes well. And now he is invited back. This time, things are different. He was shown both prophecies and asked if he would like to join them.   The idea of him being their ultimate and powerful savior definitely made him not take this decision lightly. Eventually, he made the life-altering decision. Days before Litha, he became Prime Merlinean gaining the Power of Earth Staff.   Baxter learns all about The Annual Preparation of Santa's Launch and spends many years helping with it.   Baxter in the coming years, helps to establish his own presence in the city and establishing himself as a family member within the Mystical Family of Ancient Power.   According to Magic Rebirth Divination, he would lead all into a New High Age of Ancient Power with the succesful return of all Mystical Species of Ancient Power. And he did, re-discovering Santa’s Toy Workshop Compound in the process.   In the years following, he also created a few buildings as part of Ancient Power and Christmas Magic. The Hearts of Christmas Historical and Preservation Society and Belief in All Things Christmas Spirit and Magic Museum of History and Artifacts and one more are for Santa.   The University of King Arthur's Ancient Mystical Studies, The Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo State and University Library of Ancient Power and one more are for Ancient Power.   Soon, the gods are known and all Rulers visit Realm of Mystic Isles, United States of Auradon, and other realms also created by the gods.   Then Baxter marries Angela Holly McDonald Belief in a cermony marking them as Grand Royalty of Ancient Power and granting them a new Earth’s Ancient Power Mystical Palace.    

Retirement/Death

Nicholas Claus has been Father Christmas for many eons. Gertrude Janey Claus has been by his side since 1815AD! For the last 1,035 years, she has experienced wondrous things with Magic! However, it is in 2850AD that Nicholas declares it to be “Two Kings Year”. After the Collective Congress was told, both Fathers of Christmas met with the Elfin Heads who knew this would happen in the future for they too could see how tired he was. Nicholas and Baxter left shortly after to tell Clement and Anya. They took the news as well as the rest did. Angela wrote a well-written letter to them. This is how they knew everything would be all right going forward. By May all knew except for most of the residents of the city. It is in May that all gathered in the church to hear Nicholas and Gertrude officially declare their retirement. All felt sad at losing Nicholas as he was a great leader and friend. Angela and Baxter now fully move into their new home. It turned into Thanksgiving and yet all were anxiously awaiting Nicholas’s Last Christmas Eve Trip. This year, however, Christmas Eve was also the same night Baxter and Angela would be crowned as King/Father and Queen/Mother of Christmas. It was before Yule when seven from the Christmas Beings Family went into the Cavern of True Believers (Great Christmas Crystals Cavern). They learned it will be okay to have Nicholas and Baxter tied to Christmas Spirit. Queen Boreal wished Nicholas and Gertrude a farewell and happy retirement. She then waved to all while saluting Nicholas and Gertrude for their service to the forces of good. It is now time for one Ceremonies of AEP. This time is The Annual Winter Solstice Yule Ceremony. After this night, Nicholas and Baxter must make final preparations for the crown to pass from His Royal Majesty, King Nicholas Claus to the head of His Royal Highness, Prince Baxter Claus (Legacy of Christmas and Claus Coronation). This will also make them High Royalty of Christmas which means they will be Grand High Dual Royalty of Ancient Power and Christmas Magic. This Christmas Eve meant the world to all who as it is the final Christmas the Original Clauses will experience! Both events have brought The Eight Mystical Elders, Ancient Earthly Magic’s Collective Congress, The Council of Mystic Isles, and all residents of Auradon (including the dowager kings and queens). Some of Clermont Ridge came up so they could witness Modern Magic History. It is soon time for all to gather in St. Nicholas Church. About an hour passes as Baxter and Angela change into their official clothing as Mother and Father Christmas which also makes them officially King and Queen of The North Pole Christmas Kingdom. Nicholas and Gertrude announce their new names. After, a short Christmas Eve Mass took place while all had gathered. None of the crowd left until after Nicholas, The Eight and Baxter did. It was later that others teleported into the launch center. Soon the bells struck midnight! The gathering of North Pole Christmas City Citizens quiet down as Baxter, Santa and Mrs. Claus gave a speech, Two of these included some somber and teary goodbyes. The Magic Community were not ready to lose Nicholas and Gertrude but knew both positions would continue. Baxter speaks about following in Nicholas’s footsteps as Father Christmas and the King of Noel Realm. He also mentions his wish to update the Great Christmas Parliament to include some residents from the variety of all the different species living in the North Pole Christmas Kingdom. All return inside to be informed that all preparations are complete. Nicholas as Father Christmas the First and Baxter as Father Christmas the Second climb into the sleigh. The Mothers stay in the launch center and watch them fly out. Then head back to the palace. As time wore on, the Song of Christmas rang out in the mystical world! The Rulers and those living at the Pole swore it is one of the beautiful sounds one could hear. The Song of Christmas is still being sung when Nicholas and Baxter arrive back home safe and sound. Nicholas and Baxter go to Claus Castle where their wives await them. All four enjoy the song and are still enjoying it as it winds down. The men take off their suits which magically teleport to a special place for cleaning and storing for the year. They get dressed in their other suits. Mitchell comes in the door. He says their ride is ready. The five go outside where the Claus State Sleigh stands ready pulled by reindeer known to all. The five now get in and leave to where all have gathered to celebrate. Nicholas and Gertrude and Baxter and Angela only stayed for several hours that day. The men had slept for a bit when they arrived home but were still exhausted as the trip took its toll. Even the twelve Flyers came for a bit! It turns into January 7, 2851. The Rulers meet without Nicholas. None of them were used to it but tried hard to stay connected to what will happen. The AEM Congress must also not live in Fantasy Land! The next day, Elfin Heads and Baxter meet to discuss Christmas. Angela and Baxter flew down to Texas after that. A week passes. The Christmas Eve Sleigh was brought down by Flyers, some of which had a parent who flew multiple times. Many of the objects used on Christmas also was brought down. A few months pass. It is now time that Angela and Baxter Claus arrive back in the North Pole Christmas Empire. They must now turn their full attention on being Mother and Father Christmas and Baxter as also the Prime Merlinean. The year turns to the Summer Solstice. Many of those who had come to the ceremony came back to say their final byes. It is here that each member of Earth’s Ancient Magic Collective Congress for the spell. The Rulers raise their objects and by using the Ley Lines, all open a doorway. The Clauses and the original eight reindeer step through and end up somewhere else. The portal closed. A service was soon held. The whole village feels different even if the Spirit is only tied to Baxter now!
