Christmas Valley

“HO! HO! HO! Gather ‘round! And let Jolly Old Saint Nicholas tell you about the your home. Elves, other beings, and I work to bring Joy, Love and Hope to children of the world. The Hearts of Christmas are both used to achieve what we need to keep the Spirit of Christmas high so Ancient Power survives!”
Deep in The Artic Circle, all Ley Lines converge to form one of the most powerful locations in the Realm of Ancient Power. And it is for this reason that it is also aptly named as The North Pole or Polar North.   A realm of magic sits guarding this location. A realm who belongs to one of the Rulers/Guardians of Childhood.   That realm is the North Pole Kingdom of Christmastide, the legendary place of Santa’s Workshop/Village and home of the actual North Pole.   Two Hearts of Christmas lie in this valley. The Original Heart is known as Santa’s Toy Workshop Compound. The Second Heart is The Christmas Spirit and Magic City which replaced the toy workshop due to it being too small in space and in terms of population explosion in mankind.   Most who live here are The Mystical Family of Christmas Magic AKA The Mystical Christmas Beings Community AKA Christmas Beings Community. This entire community who protect and harness the power of the Christmas Spirit.   This land was first, and still is, home to all Winter Gods and Goddesses and their nymphs and fairies. Primordial God Father Winter leads this group. However, they allow Nicholas to stay as Father Winter feels like this was meant to be. And all obey him.

Valley’s Location

The valley lies at True North where the actual North Pole stands. From the perspective of powerful locations in the realm of AEP, The Poles are two places where the Ley Lines converge and Ancient Power is very strong.   In the olden days of Ancient Power, it could be strongly felt and used here. This protection “spell” is deliberate as attacks could happen without it. This is something that was decreed long ago. Thus, Christmas Valley and other locations of Ancient Power are not on maps made by mortals until after Magic is returned.   Another question many ask is who lives in the valley. The Clauses, Father Winter, two pastors, elves, polar bears, yetis, and reindeer (flying and non-flying). Others that may be here are Amerigo and his descendants (Nicholas's White Steed), descendants of the original animals from the Birth of Jesus, and other horses, zebras, and animals that can haul things in wagons or sleighs. They live in a small community called Equineville.

Entering and Exiting Valley of Christmas

The valley can be entered or exited in two ways. Neither is on foot until magic returns. However, nobody really comes thhis far north except the local Eskimo/Inuit/whatever population.   The most known way is to fly a sleigh through the dome surrounding the entire valley. Also the fastest way for many people. Santa allows them to pass through the barrier.   For the highest and most trusted of mystical beings, they can orb/teleport into the valley. Gods, Mystical Elders and Guardians are the only ones who have this ability.   However, this valley is hidden and under a protection “spell”. The entrance remains unseen and unpassable until a powerful being (Guardian or God) wields it so.   The hidden entrance helps Santa avoid unwarranted visitors or Dark Power from destroying the Light.   The limiting of how people can get here also helps.   Everything is relaxed when Magic returns.   Visitors are only allowed upon permission from the congress but the nine are the usual exceptions to this rule. They can always pass freely.

Covert, Secret Tunnels in North Pole Valley

The secret tunnels/corridors are underneath the entire valley (Santa's Toy Factory Compound and Center of Christmas Spirit and Magic City). There’s passageways from Toy Workshop to City and also these two to Christmas Mystics Land.   The tunnels are six and a half feet tall. Tall enough for Humans and for the Rulers. These tunnels run in the ice for miles all underneath the valley.   The tunnels were originally under Santa’s Toy Factory/The First Heart of Christmas. Then they moved under North Pole City. And then beneath both hearts. All three places up north have passageways between them.   Most of these are pretty known to all elves.   The weather often is trouble up here. Every elf and creature stays safe by using the tunnels when it is too bad. Some even don’t go outside.   Reindeer and polar bears are often seen pulling sleighs not steered by the elves. In tunnels meant for sleighs, they can pull the wagon sleighs with toys in them. Christmas Preparations still go on no matter the weather.   There are signs pointing to wherever they need to go.
North Pole Workshop/Santa’s Workshop/Christmas Town
Santa’s Factory has tunnels that go to the Elf Dormitories, or the Workshop, or the Stables and the sleigh barn. Trapdoors or hidden doors are often under carpets or part of the wall. Hollow walls are usually made so that the reindeer can safely store toys in the storage barns. The whole operation is able to move during a snowstorm. Sometimes, they are used if something was clandestine.
North Pole City or Northpole
A series of tunnels lead from each elfin housing to all buildings in Christmas Town Central District. There is also a tunnel from the reindeer and sleigh barns. Claus Palace has tunnels into all buildings in Christmas Town Central District, the barns, and the office. The tunnels might extend to the church.   While the Rulers don’t need tunnels, they sometimes use them.

Visitors

First Time Visitors Experience Approaching Christmas Valley

What first-time visitors see when approaching As the sleigh flys, it soon enters the Arctic Circle. Then the elfin driver announces they approach the glimmering glacial wall.   Then they pass through.   Suddenly, the passenger(s) can smell the delicious food. And feel the snow falling and the wind as they fly above both Hearts. And to their eyes two busy places down below.   There were lots to see! There are elves happily working, walking throughout both villages completing tasks and reindeer and Polar bears pulling sleds, some even flying with sleds. Just an area busting with people and creatures. With the passenger listening, the people below sound happy!   Soon, the sleigh lands on a small runway. And the passenger is welcomed and then taken to either a hotel or checked in to the university which a separate sleigh takes them to.

Map of Santa's Village AKA Santa's Toy Workshop Compound

  It is made with INKARNATE.

Description

As you can see, this is quite a large settlement. Which isn't really a surprise since Christmas is a pretty big operation in itself. I mean, yes, there's magic, but one old man can't do all that work by himself. That's why there's an entire community here.   Going from left to right, we can see the landing strip (marked with lit up trees), the control tower, the spare sleigh stables (to the north) and the main sleigh maintenance building.   At the bottom of the map, enclosed from the rest of the village are the SPEC OPS elves - their barracks, command center and equipment storage. These are the top class of elves that actually go with Santa on his trip and fix any mistakes that are bound to happen on a mission of this size (the odd present falling out of the bag, a child being missed, pets that make noise,... that sort of thing).   Above it is the reindeer enclosure - featuring stables and a training ground. Not many people know this, but Santa actually has dozens of reindeer available to him.   The commonly known names are actually codenames given to specific reindeer based on their character and where they're supposed to go in front of the sleigh. Therefore, there are several Cupids, Comets, Donners, etc. The reindeer are separated from the rest of the bustling village by trees so as to not disturb them.   Next, on a little hill (because these elves need to know the pecking order) is Santa's house (or mansion), with a hidden pathway to the reindeer stables 8in case of an emergency getaway).   Beneath it is the main street of the village with the SHELF department (for monitoring children and compiling of the naughty/nice list), the HR (or in this case ER department), the Wrapping and Gift Allocation Centre from which there is a path for delivering the presents to the sleigh, the post office (for all the letters, obviously), the main clock tower (so that everyone knows how much longer till Christmas) and the Workshop itself, which goes down several stories beneath the ground itself.   Under the main square is the Elf College, where highly skilled elves are further specialized into List Checkers, Master Toymakers, Perimeter Guards, Carolers, etc.), the elf village where all the elves live and the Elf School where the basic job of toymaking and gfitwrapping are taught.   In the top-right corner is the Elf Lake (frozen so that elves can skate on it), the grocery store for the four basic food groups (candy, candy canes, candy corn and syrup) and the elf tavern where elves can go and enjoy a hot cup of cocoa or hot chocolate (and maybe Baileys) after a long shift at work.
