Overview
Alagor is one of the 75 realms — a vast, ancient galaxy governed through a unique dual-structure of monarchy and senate. It is composed of seven major kingdoms, each maintaining semi-autonomy under the overarching rule of the King of Alagor and a central legislative body known as the Senate. Though steeped in tradition, Alagor remains adaptive, stable, and culturally resilient.
Government Structure
Alagor’s leadership operates through a combination of executive monarchy and representative legislation:
- The King of Alagor serves as the supreme executive, unifying the realm and overseeing inter-kingdom cohesion.
- The Senate includes elected delegates from all major kingdoms, empowered to draft and enforce laws across the realm.
No hereditary nobility exists beyond the royal line — peerage, titles, and offices are earned, not inherited. This absence of noble houses is a deliberate political safeguard.
The Cardinal Dragons
To prevent authoritarian overreach, Alagor is protected by four ancient dragons, each slumbering within elemental strongholds across the realm. Their roles are both symbolic and literal:
- Varéshar, North – "Strong Frost" (Thal’vashir Peaks)
- Sera’vishar, West – "Wrathful Fire" (Kar’vathen Range)
- Tal’vorran, South – "Enduring Titan" (Vel’shathar Highlands)
- Zir’thalen, East – "Skyborne Fury" (Esh’kareth Mountains)
These entities serve as an incorruptible failsafe — awakening only in times of potential tyranny.
Demographics & Traits
Alagorians are long-lived, often reaching ages beyond 300 years. While humanoid, they possess enhanced physical endurance and resilience compared to standard humans. This trait is universal across the realm and understood to be a natural adaptation to Alagor’s environment and arcane saturation.
