Estellia

Structure

Estellia is a primarily feudal society. The individual that is in command of most of the nation would be the Shogun, the highest-ranked military commander. Hierarchy is expected to be followed and respected, with people giving commands from level to level.

Culture

The culture is steeped in philosophy and collectivism. Samurai warriors, who swear fealty to noble houses, form the backbone of Estellian society. They serve not only as soldiers but also as scholars, poets, and statesmen. Everyone's individual actions will, at some point, benefit the rest of the country. Soldiers and warriors are taught the glory of fighting and dying for the honor of their lords and their country.

Assets

Estellia has no shortage of fine equipment and raw materials. Their notable company, Estelia Crafts is known for making some of the highest quality weapons available to the best warriors. Estellia also has one of the strongest navies in the region, with many ships passing to and from Gunkashima, the nearby collection of islands several miles off the coast.

History

Estellia was offifially formed as a nation by Estel, one of the original sons of Fanar. Once being a state under the original unified Fanalian nation, it became its own country after the death of Fanar. Estel and his descendents would form the feudal society that, to this day, is still held and followed.   In the year 545, under the hand of Marshal Nikovic, Estellia was once again brought together into New Fanalia, where it would cooperate and mingle with the other states/nations. This 40 years of peace was cherished by many, but also secretly loathed by the power-hungry. As such, when Marshal Nikovic died, Estellia's shogun at the time quickly began the push for power. The glory of Estellia needed to be restored. Swords were sharpened, old battleships were revived, and Estellia's plans for power began to increase once more.
