Whelliston

Structure

Whelliston is another feudal society. Most of the population is consisted of peasants and merchants, with the next level being knights and elite warriors. From there, nobles such as lords and dukes oversee many of the lands. At the top is the main monarch of the country, the one who oversees and makes the final decisions when the court of nobles is unable to finalize decisions.

Culture

This nation values tradition, order, and noble bloodlines. Its rolling hills, castles, and grand cities are the epitome of medieval grandeur, with knights sworn to protect their lords and uphold the ideals of honor and justice. Amongst soldiers and knights, chivalry is a core value. Maintaining one's honor and strength is vital for any good fighter.

Assets

Whelliston has a very large amount of raw materials, with iron being particularly plentiful. With industrialization also having a decent foothold, small-scale factories have popped up to mass-produce equipment. Whelliston also has a sizeable navy, albeit not as powerful as Estellia's.

History

Just like its neighbors, Whelliston was formed soon after the death of Fanar. Wurkell, son of Fanar, crowned himself king after proving his prowess in battle and defending his followers. Whelliston's history is not too disimilar to the histories of its neighbors. Throughout the many years, Whelliston has engaged in minor skirmishes over territory and resource disputes.   When Marshal Nikovic reunified Fanalia, Whelliston joined the union of relative peace. However, when the Marshal passed in the year 585, Whelliston knew that a power struggle would quickly ensue. Knights prepared for battle, men-at-arms were called upon once more.
