Repository 71-G

A large repository of the Zikrat Scientific Citizenry (ZSC). 71-G was one of the later models of repositories (read the article for ZSC), and could house a large number of souls as it was very advanced.

It has had a large number of 'issues' well after its initial construction though. This has forced the people to become quite adaptive, and the structure had to be redesigned from the ground up several times. This is because of several disasters which have happened outside of their control, such as floods and even lack of water, solar flares damaging electronics, war and the foundations shifting in earthquakes. The population often had to find ways to obtain resources from very few sources, but they have mainly relied on recycling materials they do have, making use of a large machine which could break down metals into liquid and base forms to manufacture new parts. They still had to obtain materials though because no process is 100% efficient, and they would normally find large wreckages from around the pre-Repository civilization to repair themselves. They made their structure quite modular in order to easily accommodate future repairs and upgrades, usually shutting down parts of the structure if need be, to carry out repairs. Its generators were quite notorious for requiring a lot of maintenance, and fuel was quite rare but they managed to adapt their robot designs to harvest it from the ground.

With a population of almost 200 million, the Repository 71-G was one of the most populous, though there are many other repositories around the world.

It is also one of the few to have survived the Repository age, but it has emerged in a highly damaged state. Of its population of 200 million, only about 42 million survived. This repository was focusing on building its first robots and repairing itself from a significant explosion that happened on the exterior of the structure near the top. Now, all that is left of the structure is one of its large support pillars that held the weight of the structure. Though this support pillar is entirely underwater and cannot be easily seen from the surface, many tourist groups have managed to set foot on it. Much of the interior of this support structure is made up of memorials of those who have died in the structure as well as a significant fraction of all known Repository age history. All other parts of Repository 71-G was scrapped for reuse by the ZSC.
