Green System
A star system in the Carina galaxy.
Hyperion Federation found a star that emits mainly green light. It has been named a very creative name; the Green system. The Federation continues to study the green system but still does not fully understand it.
After some study, it was found this star is almost perfectly in between the F and G classes of stars, causing it to emit a frequency between blue and yellow, giving the star its unique colour.
Tourists also sometimes visit the Green System due to its anomalous nature. There are no habitable planets in the Green System, but there are many inhabited stations. They experience living with mostly greenlight every day.
Apart from the anomalous nature of the star and the scientific opportunities it presents, there is not much else of note about the Green system. The HF has constructed a number of mines on various planets in the star system though.
Due to the extremely unique nature of the Green system, the HF has spent a large amount of resources on the system in order to study it and allow the many tourists that come to have an enjoyable trip. As such, several planets are habitable due to terraforming and there are a number of megastructures such as the Green System Ring World.
Some people who travel to the Green system report that other stars can look green too, while in the general proximity of the Green star's light. These reports are rather ominous as the cause for this is unknown, and some groups say that the colour of the star 'trick' people's eyes to thinking all stars are green, however, even AIs have been known to see the other stars as green.
