Candide Mountains
The Candide Mountains are a large mountain range located along the north-western edge of the Southern Wildlands of Pyalea.
Along with the Sabine Mountains, they are considered to the border of the Southern Wildlands, and divide the region from the Sapphire Desert and the Adashe Plains beyond. The Candide range spans from the western-most reaches of the wilds and the Parlous Ocean, to the heart of the central forests.
The mountain range features Liar's Mirror, the deepest lake in Pyalea, which feeds the Amberflow River. At the southern end of the range is Mount Firebrand, and at its base is The City.
The mountain range is named for one half of the god Sabine & Candide.
