Amberflow River
The Amberflow River is an important river in the Southern Wildlands of Pyalea.
It flows down from the Candide Mountains and around Mount Firebrand. The river splits within the walls of The City, with the eastern flow becoming the Maga River. From there, the Amberflow runs through the Sundered Plains, into the southern forests of the wilds, and to the south-west coast where it meets the Parlous Ocean.
The river is named for the colouration it takes on during sunset as it descends from the mountains, as observed from The City. It is sometimes incorrectly considered to be named for the lava flow of Mount Firebrand that took a similar route during its eruption in 2947 PL.
