Personal history
Thomarr Hirth was a Ferrarian noble and ruler of the Hyrame basin. He served under Acanth II, Pulus I and Durwn I as the Lord of Fire.
During the War of the Dragon, he remained a royalist, ensuring the sea lanes to Quentar remained open to Quentar. However, the guilds of Shir, Hirthenholm, and Fort Frudamara were fiercely opposed to Pulus, causing Hirth to flee his capital of Hirthurdea with the a few ships from the colonial fleet to Pulus' bastion at Bartholm.
Hirth led the royalist navy for the rest of the war, joining with Aleecha Boditer during the Raids on Naranval and Litanholm. He also brought troops down the River Hyrame on his ships during the Battle of Ferran's Hold.
After the war, Pulus rewarded Thomarr by making him the chief of the navy and Chief Adviser Keal Acanth Bolls spent part of the war ransom treasury on rebuilding Hirth's fleet.
After the coronation of Durwn I, Thomarr returned to Hirthurdea to continue his struggle against the guilds in the Hyrame basin, which were rebuilding their strength after the War.
Thomarr was opposed to the appointment of new-bloods, advocating for those which were war heroes, like Aleecha Boditer or Qamron Osvar to be rewarded with non-traditional roles in government, like governorships.
Thomarr died in 450 PT, just before the start of the Fourth Ferrarian Civil War. His death allowed the guilds to increase their power further, plunging Ferraria into conflict. He was succeeded by his nephew Myle Hirth.
