Personal history
Acanth II was the eighteenth king of Ferraria. He didn't expect to ascend the throne, but when his father, Ferran IV, and brother, Redis II, both died on the plague effecting all of Ferraria, he did.
He ruled for kingdom for several decades, bringing in an area of relative peace that began once the plague receded. He was the father of King Pulus and Acanth. He was the oldest ever king of Ferraria, dying at the age of 102.
He was notable for his stance on foreign policy, as he married a foreign queen to finally seal an alliance in blood between Ferraria and Republia. He also had an interest in music and poetry, setting up a few colleges in Ferran's Hold with the help of the guilds.
