Personal history
Durwn I Oboror was the final King of Ferraria, as his death marked the end of the Fourth Ferrarian Civil War and the dissolution of the Kingdom of Ferraria into a series of successor states. His reign was marked by a series of internal and external conflicts. Durwn's line was survived by his children, who fled to Ormantella.
Durwn's father, Pulus, raised him to become king, but Durwn expressed a desire to be more like his uncle, Acanth, going off to explore the world and learn the arts of Quentar and beyond. However, during this journey, a coup led by Chancellor Bauxtice Pellon led to the beginning of the War of the Dragon, nearly leading to Durwn being assassinated in Desilica.
Durwn was saved by Qamron Osvar, a Ferrarian diplomat, and together they began to form an army to defeat Pulus. They were joined by Nattan Srorwin, Aleecha Boditer, Filp Ugbo, and Amata Waterborn. They eventually defeated and killed Pellon in the Battle of Ferran's Hold.
Durwn became a popular figure in Ferraria, although he was not without his enemies. Durwn's coronation was a magnificent affair, but it was hugely expensive. When Durwn became King after the death of his father, an internal coup led to the deaths of many of Durwn's enemies. After this, Durwn attempted to restructure the kingdom to centralise power in himself, but he lacked the ability to do this. After a period of civil tension, the Fourth Ferrarian Civil War broke out, which led to the dissolution of the kingdom and Durwn's death.
