The Tribe of Jhedakar

The Tribe of Jhedakar, who are the backbone of the Empire, growing the food that feeds all of the Empire. They have been tasked by their God to grow and cultivate food for the entirety of the Empire, and delivering it to households across the Empire. They are also masters of taming nearly any animal and domesticating species that would have originally been thought to have been impossible or foolish to do so.   Their flag/crest is the Angellonian star with a sickle and whip and wheat and an animal skull. The whip represents their domestication of animals used as livestock and for working with, and the sickle represents the crops they plant, grow and harvest.

Structure

The chieftain of the tribe who is called "The Farmer" for he is the greatest of harvesters and herders and is highly skilled in gardening and breeding is in charge of the tribe and he commands his council of chief cultivators and chief harvesters telling them of their annual goals and then they are in charge of at least eight plantations where there are many growers and breeders working on the land.

Culture

They are mostly gardeners and breeders who are not into warfare, but will fight to protect themselves and their loved ones and their crops and animals. They see themselves as the providers of food for the empire and make sure that the empire lacks nothing concerning food and the starvation of one of their own is considered failure to them.

Public Agenda

To keep the bellies of the empire not empty so that the soldiers and workers can continue their duties of the Empire.

Assets

They have access to the latest farm tools, vehicles and buildings needed to breed animals and garden crops.

Territories

There is at least a group of Jhedakm farmers that live one every single colony of the Empire where it can grow food of any kind. And there is at least four plantations per colony which is under the leadership of a Chief Cultivator or Chief Harvester.

Military

The Jhedakm army consists of volunteers and they tend to use militarized versions of farm tools instead of swords. They also are the only cavalry unit of the eight tribes, riding "Gilden Striders" into battle, stampeding the enemy.

Religion

This tribe is somewhat reluctant when a feast day arrives because this is the day they must produce the most food possible and then the day after the feast there is not much crops leftover to

Agriculture & Industry

Even amongst the heavens, the Jhedakm are one of the few agriculutre superpowers who are able to feed and end within their empire.

Education

When they are of age: able to work and comprehend it, they are taught how to farm and to herd livestock and breeding and gardening. They also learn some forms of self defense, good enough to fight wild animals and thieves that could potentially harm them and their loved ones.

Major Exports
They export many kinds of food within their empire to other tribes with a standard package that is given to every household according to their needs: at least 2 lbs of flour per 2 people for bread, 4 lbs of fruit or vegetable per 2 people and 30lbs of meat per household, but can be up to 90lbs of meat if the household has more than 20 people. and they preserve this food by freezing it and sometimes some meat is salted to give longer preservation.
Legislative Body
The Farmer and his councils of chief cultivators and chief harvesters come up with new laws and regulations for their respective councils. but before a law is added, it must be debated first by the other within their respective council, ex: a chief cultivator wants a law to be added where any breeder who does not pay tax for the death of animal must be given stripes equal to 40 years-the age of the dead animal, but before the law can be passed he must convince other chief cultivators to agree with this law for it to be passed. the same is true for chief harvesters. but if a law were to affect another council, ex: harvesters must pay tribute equal to 10% of their crops for the marrying of a daughter of a cultivator, then both councils will debate if this law is acceptable to be passed. if any law has need for a filibuster, the chieftain of the tribe will give the winning vote.
Judicial Body
There are governors who make sure any new law that is passed is known. They also punish criminals according to their crimes.
Executive Body
The Jhedakm military seeks out criminals and capture them to be judged by a governor.
