Angellonianism (An-Je-lo-nian-ism)
"Ikra phol yado'zhd krajiantar'ura, yado'zhd konrza, dasena yado'zhd Eloh"
"I be your creator, your king, and your God"
-"The Divine Father"
The symbol of this religion is an eight sided star and within the star is eight diamonds which each are the eight tribes of Angellonia: Red is the Zhedakm, Green is the Jhedakm, Gold is the Thedakm, Orange is the Fhedakm, Purple is the Khosakm, yellow is the Yosakm, light blue is the Moadakm and the dark Blue is the Spadakm. and the diamond symbol represents four clans of each tribe. the octagon in the center is their oligarchy government of eight chieftains, one from each of the eight tribes. the original symbol of Angellonianism originally did not have diamonds but instead circles, the diamonds were added later in A.E 900 under the High Priest Snowy-Eyes to represent the four dominant clans of each tribe in the Empire.
Structure
it is organized as a theocracy with the Angellonian God being the king, the high priest and the prophets being 2nd in charge, and the other chieftains being 3rd in charge.
Public Agenda
To convert the heavens and if not then cleanse it with fire...
Mythology & Lore
It is based on the abrahamic religions of Judaism and christianity.
Divine Origins
The Angellonians consider it to be the original religion that has been kept by their predecessors the kazu.
Tenets of Faith
the tenets of faith are similar to the Abrahamic religions such as:
1. worship no other gods.
2. don't steal.
3. don't fornicate.
4. don't murder.
5. do not lie.
6. do not blaspheme or use the king's name in vain.
7. honour your parents and elders.
8. love your neighbor as yourself.
There are many other religious laws that the Angellonians must obey. these are the few most commonly known laws of their religion.
Ethics
To live a holy and honourable, just and righteous life. obeying their God and serving Him.
Worship
Before one would speak to the Angellonian God in ancient times (B.E-A.E 0-1420), they must first make a stone altar and sacrifice a fowl (or some other feathered creature) (except for the Spartianians, they must sacrifice a beast) and then burn the animal's blood on the altar and then speak to the Angellonian God. if the Angellonian God accepts the prayer then the fire would become blue but if not then it would become green.
but in present times (A.E 1420-present) since the conversion of Fowlanians were rules adjusted and added to the worship of the Angellonian God; no longer did one needed to make a stone altar or sacrifice an animal except the Spadakm (they are still commanded to continue this form of worship), non-Spadakm Angellonians can now also simply pray (speak) in private or as a group unless commanded otherwise and if He heard their prayers he would make sure to show a sign of his acknowledgment.
Priesthood
The priesthood is made up of the descendants of Spartia who are to help with the animal sacrifices which cleanse the sins of those give the sacrifice to appease their God. they would use sacrificial daggers and bowls made of gold and a gemstone of the corresponding tribe: the dagger to cut the neck and the bowl to catch the blood. if a Zhedakm were to come offering a sacrifice, then the priest would use the Zhedakm bowl and dagger for the sinner and so on and so on.
When a non-Angellonian convert makes a sacrifice, the priests don't use the golden bowls and daggers, instead they grab a silver bowl with a gold ring engraved on the bowl with a dagger made of silver and a golden handle to sacrifice the animal.
non-angellonians can become overseers unto their race on colonies of the Empire of up to eight per race and every four or eight or sixteen races (only those specific numbers) is assigned to a priest within the Spadakm priesthood, and those priests are seen as high priests and the chieftain of the Spadakm is seen as The Arch-High Priest to non-angellonian converts.
Granted Divine Powers
The Divine One blessed each of the eight tribes of Angellonia granting the tribes strengths in their respective talents:
The Zhedakarians: The Zhedakarians are natural born warriors, masters of warfare and physical prowess capable of defeating an entire legion with one warrior.
The Jhedakarians: The Jhedakarians are masters of agriculture, always with an abundance of crops and cattle for food.
The Thedamaelians: The Thedamaelians are masters of designing things such as architecture and blueprints for weapons, and labouring by building what is designed. They also labor in the other jobs not performed by the tribes.
The Fhedamaelians: The Fhedamaelians are masters of craftsmanship making the sharpest weapons, the strongest buildings, the fastest ships and the toughest armor.
The Khosarians: The Khosarians are masters of wisdom, having understanding of the ways of life and knowledge of things that are unknown to outsiders, given the roles as teachers to young Angellonians.
The Yosarians: The Yosarians are masters of literature,, writing records of history and holy sacred scrolls and laws. they also can write amazing stories and poems and play music of great proportions.
The Moartianians: The Moartianians are masters of "The Eighth Sight" able to use Telepathy and Telekinesis, feared for their ability to move things with their minds and to read and see and feel the thoughts of others.
The Spartianians: The Spartianians are masters of faith and virtues, The lineage of the priesthood and are deadly warriors rivaling Zhedakm, most Spartians are known to become prophets of "The Divine Father" and only pure blooded Spartians can enter the infamous Zealot order.
Political Influence & Intrigue
This religion influences all politics, business practices, and the morals of all converts to this religion. All non-Angellonians who are unsure if their government decisions would offend the faith of the Angellonians would go to them for their blessing before acting upon their affairs. even non-converts who make deals/treaties with them will make sure adhere to the Angellonian dogmas.
Sects
some of the populations of the converted empires had mixed certain aspects of their former pagan religions into Angellonianism and have created many sects because of this.
Idolists: These are the Non-Angellonians who outright worship the Angellonians as if they were like gods(the divines). This has become quite awkward to many Angellonians who do visit the non-Angellonian converts. Many newly crowned Kings or Queens of Non-Angellonian Empires of this sect would make sacrifices to the Angellonians for their blessings from the angelic beings and build graven images of them to worship.
Purists: These are the Non-Angellonians who believe only by converting to not just the religious but also culturally and (only very few do this) physically to the ways of the Angellonians is there salvation. They are seen by most Angellonians as copycats and to some they see it as great respect to them. Many Kings and Queens of non-Angellonian Empires of this sect have been known to change their native names into Angellonian versions of their name or changing it entirely and would only speak in Angellonian as it is seen as the language of God.
Symbolists: These are the Non-Angellonians who do not recognize the literality of the stories that are found in Angellonian holy texts and see it instead like a fable or like lessons to be an example to live by. These people are seen as foolish and ignorant to the Angellonians who believe in the literality of their holy texts (and some being alive to witness those events). They have also infamously rewritten holy texts to match their former pagan ideologies and have tried to spread it to the other sects and to the Angellonains themselves.
Spiritualists: These non-Angellonians are mainly normal with regards to the teachings of Angellonianism except they believe that the soul of any Angellonian or a trueconvert can still remain in the realm of the living and can be summoned with sorceries and asked for guidance or permission for things and they tend to idolize the dead more often the God of this religion. They are seen as a strange people near the borders of demon worship.
