Oganid Dynasty
The Oganids are an influential family in The Martellite Empire. They have held the title of Duchy of Corvannia for several generations, despite hardships.
The dynasty was founded by the warlord Ogan of Wintervale during the early years of The Martellite Empire. His service to the emperor at the time lent him the favor required to enter the nobility, and build the duchy of Corvannia proper.
The Oganid dynasty fell on hard times after a curse befell their old capital of Ravenhead. Since the castle there was wrestled away from them, the Oganids have been trying desperately to regain favor in the royal courts. These efforts are next to fruitless, since the rise of Charles Henrik Ecleziar has labeled them a cursed house that must seek redemption for the crimes of the ancestors.
