Duchy of Corvannia
A relatively large duchy in The Martellite Empire. Its former capital was Ravenhead. It was abandoned as the ducal capital in 1131, when a curse befell the capital, forcing the ducal family to flee the town indefinitely.
Before the curse befell Ravenhead, the Oganid Dynasty held a great deal of influence due to Corvannia's levy contribution and standing in court. While not one of The Original Duchies, it carried almost as much weight.
Corvannia's northernmost border is adjacent to Eiturwood territory. As such, they experience frequent raids and skirmishes. The duchy's personal levies have adapted to the tactics of the Eitur raiders, and have become well aware of their movements.
