Charles Henrik Ecleziar
Charles Henrik Ecleziar was born as simply Charles. He started his life out as a monk in the Church of Karsten, God of the Moon and the Wilds. Monks of Karsten were often tasked with being roadside guardians for travelers during the night, and as Charles was tasked with this he went all across Martellia, and saw all of the ails it faced. It is said that one day, the humble priest was given a vision, and a holy blade. The vision Charles received told him to cleanse Martellia of its squabbles, and undo the damage the warring houses have caused it. And so Charles abandoned the cloth, and through divine providence led a revolution that granted him the crown.
It is the will of Emperor Charles Henrik to bring an end to the bickering and constant warfare, believing the mismanagement of Martin Eleanor's descendants to be the cause. He seeks the title of Lux Triumphans, given only by the highest of Arcturian priests, as a means to cease internal hostilities and bring order to his realm.
