Hazel Globetrot

Hazel is a Foxian born and bread she is very faithful to her people's practices and love of nature but she is also intrigued by the industry and machinery. But as her interest grew and her parent's denied her interests she fled from her people seeking to investigate the outside society. Her first journey took her onto a Truffleborn airship where she was a stowaway.

Eventually she is caught by the ship's crew and is kicked off the ship in an Onyxscaled village. There she befriends some of the locals and is allowed to conduct research on the world's various technology but one day their trust was betrayed when she was caught reading books on Soul-Steam. After a lengthy debate in a diet of Onyx elders she was marked as a traitor and was exiled from any Onyx territory.

Upon her exile she wandered the world following closely to lesser traveled roads, seeking the occasional passer by to pickpocket or fabricate an ailment to get housing or food.

Eventually she makes her way to the Nines Republic where she meets Ivan Grimm and she joins him in an unlikely adventure and slowly begins to fall in love.

• She is Courageous to the extreme, where if given the opportunity to do a job or steal something from the right person she will take it and she will do it good. She rarely flees from situations and will stick to it even if the outlook may appear grim.
• She does have a large sense of pride about herself and her people despite her exile from them. She has a large amount of confidence and at times it may outdo her intelligence landing her in precarious and easily preventable situations.
• She is decently intelligent and knows a lot about how many things and has been known to engineer some creations of her own. However if her emotions says something that contradicts her mental logic she will prioritize what her emotions are telling her.
• She holds herself in high esteem and generally prefers to seek her own interest rather than others. Though she has also known to help others who are in a worse off state than her, people who are sick or hurting or lost wanderers like herself. But if she finds she is no longer needed for a task or that it is no longer wholly profitable she will leave seeking her own interest more.
• Her view on authority has been greatly shaken thanks to the leaders of the Foxian tribes and the Onyxscaled. Because of this she already has a distrust of the Nines Republic leadership and the higher ups within the Truffleborn Drifters. This also leads her to seek her own independence even from close friends. She has learned to live on her own and fears that if she is to live with someone again she will be put in a place of being controlled again.

In a phrase "Plunder the rich and give to the poor."

To be more exact if she sees someone well enough off she is more than willing to pilfer a few coins from them in order for her to meet her needs. While her methods of accomplishing this can be a bit scummy. Where she will skim a few coins off the top when making deals with people or simply acquired dropped goods.

Now her other overarching philosophy is her belief that machinery and nature can coexist.

She has dreams of greenery covered factories and forests with automated maintenance. She believes that the industrial world could be made so much better if they respected nature more and that it can be a way to further the natural world and make it work more efficiently and help more people.

Her viewpoint on the Engines of Creation is the same as the Foxian viewpoint where she believes in them as sacred deities and are sent as a punishment for the world's sins. However she believes that they serve as a warning both to the industrial world and the natural believing that they have been summoned because of the divide between their peoples.
