Onyxscaled
Onyxscaled society is centered around flame and warmth as they are coldblooded creatures. This has led to them developing tightly knit communities. As their society evolved they went from telling stories through word of mouth, to records of song to their written tongue. Now they are known to host massive libraries surrounded by a tightly knit community of Onyxscaled.
Basic Information
Anatomy
The Onyxscaled are born with dark black scales and there is rarely any color variation between families. But there are incredibly rare Onyxscaled with white scales and these "pure scales" are generally reserved for work in the Onyxscale's religion. They have four legs and generally crawl on all fours. But during formal occasions or meetings with the other races they will walk on their rear legs though this is very uncomfortable for them. Their eyes very between red, green and blue with a slit in the middle rather than a circular pupil. They have a long tail which generally rubs against the ground as they crawl around.
Males: 5-5.5 ft
Females: 4.5-5 ft.
Males: 200-275 lbs
Females: 175-225
