Enceladus
Far from still and peaceful waters, the ocean within Enceladus churns deep underneath the snow. The pressure builds until it furiously bursts through the cracks. A lot of the material of the outer ring originate from these tumultous seas. Spewed out into space by the southern geysers, it crystallizes into ice by the frigid temperatures of outer space, or falls back down on Enceladus as snow.
Ring eels start and end their life cycle in the spray of the southern geysers, travelling across the orbit of Saturn to spawn.

I think this is my favourite location in all of Solaris! I love oceans, and what a fascinating water cycle! and of course ring eels :D
Thank you! Enceladus is a really cool moon in real life and gets most of the credit here. There's so much to work with that I feel like you could make a whole world inspired by it alone.
