Trituration

SPHERES
G. Goddamnicus Globulum A sub-set of the Triturations, the Spheres, warrant special consideration, as this is a rare (though highly desirable) development in an Matholith's evolution. A Sphere has no edges or bumps whatsoever. Their energy is perfectly self-contained, and it resonates at its own pure frequency. It will neither gain nor lose any more points. They cease to evolve, having developed a personal connection with the Omnul. They are considered mega-Points. Spheres tend to keep to themselves, as their inability to register other frequencies or deviate from their own tone makes it difficult to interact with the rest of the community. They can't consider different perspectives or ideas, and have very little to contribute to a conversation if it wanders beyond their tonal range. However, within their own limited frequencies, the Spheres are wise advisors. Ashtrays desiring specific insight will often seek out a Sphere known for its experience with their given conundrum. (The Sphere doesn't always give the best answers for the situation, but it does have a great deal of insight.) Spheres are thought to be meta-incarnations of the zygotal Stippli phase. Though points have, by definition, zero dimensions, it is thought that if they did have a shape, they could only be spherical. Thus, a Sphere has come "full circle," the essence of its basic Self having reached the highest level of tonal evolution possible within this iteration of reality. The question of whether Spheres are actually 4th-dimensional Stippli has been debated at length, but as there are no known meta-forms of the free-floating points with which they could form attachments and begin their evolution again at a higher level, the answer remains a mystery.

Triturations have trouble with new ideas and information, which can make conversations difficult, though they are unmatched experts in their own fields.
