The evening beach is orange, the sky is blue and pink, and the air looks purple because you've spent your eyes staring into the orange and pink. All the colors are bouncing off the Oseen waves, grey beneath the shimmer, they gently nag the sand at low tide in the twilight.
A dream—of course it's a dream—but you can feel the grit under your bottom and the wind on your top. You are the only one in sight, here on the other side of the dunes. Miles to your left, who knows? The city of Santa Pez might still be there, with its faux-antique streetlights and authentic-style red brick sidewalks and red tile roofs and the shops and restaurants and nervous palm trees and the filthy bums who stand around peeing on everything. It might be there.
But that's there, and you're the only one here, on the orange-pink-purple-blue-grey beach, and for all you can tell, this might just be forever.
Each Realm of the Gri'x has its own signature frequency range, and in the center of each of those ranges, there's a point where that frequency is at its purest. Santa Pez is the place where the purest forms of each Realm meet. It's an idyllic place to soak up ideals and absorb new ideas.
If we bring linear time into the picture, Santa Pez is the newest Realm. In fact, it existed before the Gri'x, and only joined the Land when the first Realms' frequencies finally achieved a perfect harmony. The sudden annexation took everyone by surprise.
Santa Pez is, literally, a font of raw creative energy. It contains an enormous Aetherfall where the raw potential of Quondamaric energy flows into the land, attracting artists of all kinds, collectors and talent scouts looking for the next "big thing", and an endless stream of Tourmites.
At the center of the Old Village is a well, in which lives a Fish. It is said that the Fish in the well contains the shared soul of the entire Santa Pez settlement.
“Ask the Fish” is a popular game for tourmites and natives alike.
