Stippli

The Soul-Point, or Stippli, is the first (and last) stage of Matholithic evolution. As non-dimensional entities, Stippli are physically undetectable to those who cannot sense auras or conscious energy fields.   The spectrum of energy is a confusing morass of possibilities to these self-centric, drifting, raw egos. Lacking depth (or width or height). They are attracted to frequencies which harmonize pleasantly with their own, but they seem unaware that the sources of these vibrations are external, and not simply extensions of their own energy.   As their bodies are conceptual rather than material, Stippli can travel through any physical object. However, they are dependent on local energy currents to act as carrier waves when they want to travel (thus an object which blocks these energy currents will be a solid obstacle to the Point as well). If multiple waves exist around it, the Point can choose which one to follow, but precise relocation requires a favorable current.   The growth cycle is initiated when the singular Soul-Point attaches itself to at least one other free-floating (non-sentient) point using their willpower to generate an attractive force, drawing the target into its aura and attuning it to its personal frequency. The first such attachment enables them to transcend to the Lina phase of evolution, during which the Point becomes a Line.
