Arrehan
Leader of the Sun and Enforcer of Order
The nominal leader of the Elven gods, Arrehan is certainly the face of Ehranian government, and is the specific patron of Sun Elves. As with all gods, his domain consists of three aspects: a celestial body (the Sun), a part of nature (Light), and a social principle (Order).
- In his manifestation as the Sun, Arrehan is seen as the bestower of life to farmers in particular, and thus is highly revered by Wood Elves, secondarily to Ruandal. He is thus invoked when strong sunlight and clear weather are desired.
- As one of three gods of Light, Arrehan represents "outward" light specifically: Light which comes from within and illuminates. It is a light of reason and clarity, honesty, and purpose, and shares its bounty with others, as the sun warms the earth with gentle light. Thus, he is invoked in this aspect when one needs to understand a problem, resolve a dilemma, or uncover the duplicity of another.
- In his aspect as the bringer of Order, he represents social cohesion and adherence to the rule of law, especially for the sake of the governed. Thus he is invoked by bureaucrats and government agents, especially in the context of legal judgments.

Tenets of Faith
Orders devoted to Arrehan are more like secular schools than religious institutions. Members are expected to spend most of their time studying books of law and philosophy, and engage in long debates on various matters. Accredited priests are sought for consultation in legal matters as well as general problem-solving, are often hired for conflict resolution outside the legal system, and make up a substantial portion of the judicial system.
Prayers addressed to Arrehan take the form of written requests. In simple cases, one simply writes their wish on paper and leaves it, folded, on a consecrated altar, in the light of burning candles. In more severe cases, a formal text will be composed, using proper legal forms, and making a logical argument to support one's desire. These can take up several pages, and in a few cases have become entire books. The most esteemed of these prayers are now part of the historical legal record and are studied by aspiring priests.

Physical Description
General Physical Condition
As with all of the Star-Lords, his official depiction is a statue in the antechamber to the Hall of the Chosen near the crown of Ehranith, and all depictions made since are based on this. The statue is approximately recognizable as bearing the phenotype of a Sun Elf. It stands just to the left of the passage which leads to the Hall of the Chosen, across from the statue of Mrendil, and the two are gazing at each other while facing outward. His right hand is held outward, palm up, as if offering a gift, while his left carries a scepter of Orichalcum. The statue is made of bronze, clad in pure gold and with golden features.
Apparel & Accessories
Raiment of mail and chain, of woven copper and gold, and carries an orichalcum scepter.
Adherents of Arrehan (including government agents) wear white with gold accents, the amount of gold indicating their rank.
Mental characteristics
Intellectual Characteristics
In stories, Arrehan is portrayed as a stern yet kind figure, who is willing to help others, but only when sorely needed. He does not offer advice or his own opinion on matters, instead applying logic to any situation. As the leader of the gods, he is often in command, but only when direct action by the entire pantheon is needed. Mortals seeking his aid have to work their way up the pantheon's hierarchy to reach him.
