Order Of Nine
"Protectors of the realms, Defenders of the weak" is the codex of the nine, the order of lords making up the table at the "Tower Of Metrif" in Ahl'Khun Astu, at which the fate of "The United
Realms" is conducted. The regions of Metrif and the
Wetlands who's united by the alliance, are both strong in military and resources alike. Though the name states nine members, the tenth is the most prominent one. Ruling alongside the order, the Council Of Lua's Archpriest wave the will of the light to guide the lords.
Founding Of The Nine
When the Light's Revolution led by Teiron Metrif and the will of Lua, had caused the downfall of all the major Lords and their family's, the Prophet of light, anointed seven new Protectors of the realm. Two of which still holds power, House Aurelia and House Ramley. For a few decades only seven houses sat at the table, as the Wetlands who had a long history of loyalty to the Ahl'Khun bloodline and a tradition of intermarrying, refused to bend their knee to no noblemen regime. That changed when Raiders from the Obsidian Isles began ravaging the rivers of the Streamlands, all the while acolytes from the Church Of Peyn brought their plague of torture upon the eastern parts of "Deephollow Marshes". When in need of the orders fleet and the light of the chosen, the proposal for an alliance suddenly had a great sound to it, so from that moment and forward, the order of seven became nine.
