Castle Nightingale
on the far eastern end of "Metrif", at the foot of the beautiful Highland "The Whistling Hills", stands a glorious palace
with towers peaking near the height of the surrounding mountains. The castle was erected by "House Aurelia" about 400 years ago as a manor for the lord and his family and was only three generations ago handed over to House Vilanche who now sits the throne. As the smallest castle with the least land out of all the major houses, House Vilanche have always kept to them selves in the military sense. However diplomacy is one of the houses specialties and has already, in its less than a 100 years of age, made many good connections in both "Shyanin" and "Kel'Ehrev, which granted the Vilanches their seat at the Order Of Nine only six-teen years ago. The region is scarcely populated and so the lord has a close relationship with his people, trust both ways has made the castle the only "open" in Metrif, with entrance allowed by any from anywhere, making this one of the most well-visited places in all of Nilaris.
