The Light's Revolution
The Conclave Of blood
Only four years after the Iron Wars beginning, Ahl'Khun Theodalis took his own life in pure grief following the sight of what horrors he had permitted Shyanin to bring upon the dwarves of the north. The two most powerful houses "House Revrile and House Lannisvil" who by tradition ruled in the Khuns stead untill an heir was anointed, fought for peace and an end to the war. The five other major lords of the realm whos names has been lost in time, were struck with greed and had grown very font of seeing their wealth expand, thus were not eager for the conflict to end. In a daring plot the unnamed houses assassinated "Tomren Revrile and Tyliw Lannisvil" at the table of nine, in an act later called "The Conclave Of Blood" and after hunted down all who shared their names. In the following forty years, the war raged on and while the commoners grew more and more desperate and hungry, the noblemen's belly's seemed only to swell.
The Vision
When the conflict erupted into the "Second Iron War" and the forces of the nameless lords was deployed to the eastern jungles of Kel'Ehrev, a battlecleric named "Teiron Metrif" stumbled upon the ruins of an old cathedral, namely the Hem'Riey ruins. In the deep dark tombs of the ruins he found the reminiscence of a library, with only a few scripts still intact, here he spend many years and When he finally came out, he had found a new faith. With his words so well spoken and divine he soon had the entire eastern battalion praying and chanting for the new gods, who he calls the Chosen Ones
The Overthrowing
As the Chosen Ones Didn't see glory or honor in the war they were part of, Metrif led them all back to their homes and started preaching the words of the five. The Desperation in the people of the lands made, them easily convinced that the light this holy prophet revealed were almighty and soon many more began to believe. As the chosen's numbers kept rising and half of them were deserters, it was only natural for the nameless lords to react with force. Three assassination attempts were thrown upon the prophet, yet none left a mark. These attacks only drew the people further into the arms of the five and stirred up something the nobles never could have seen coming. Even though Metrif and his closest disciple's all spoke of peace and affection, the newfound hope in the commoners let them to rebel and put him and his words on their banners.
Many workers stopped doing the lords biddings, the highborn's farmers burnt down their crops and soon angry mobs were at the gates of every castle, keep and fortress in the realm. When the lord of Timber Well's response to the horde of his people was "Kill them all, I want every single one of their heads" the guards of his walls simply refused and opened the gates. For the oath of knights pledged to the Ahl'Khun dynasty sounds, "I swear to defend those who cannot themselves, I swear to protect passion from greed, I shall not dishonor no man, I shall not violate no women, for I am the shield that covers the realm, for I am the fire that guides the people" and even though it had been close to four century's since the last reign of the Khun, the oath was no less relevant. As soon as the news of the guards revolt reached the other castles, most of the knights joined the bravery of their sworn brothers. Those who fell for the promise of land and wealth to protect their lords, shared their demise when the horde inevitably would crash through the gate. Despite the fact that Metrif as far as we know wasn't a part of the revolution itself, he still got praised and pictured as a saint. For that reason the people decided that he should be the one to anoint the new lords of the land, they immediately renamed after him. The faith of the Chosen spread ever more rapidly, as you could not walk a mile without hearing of the saint who could commute with the new gods. The newly freed realm needed to stay free, but Metrif had no intentions of being a king and seeing how the godless lords ruled with their greed, he neither desired no highborn regime.
The Reformation
By the power rested upon him, Metrif choose seven new lords among the knights who helped the rebellion, to sit in their old masters seats. Forming the Order Of Seven, later renamed the Order Of Nine. He also released all other knights' from their old oaths, letting them chose their own fate. The old castle of the Ahl'Khun dynasty Ahl'Castelle, was made into a temple for the chosen, where Metrif took up home to teach people the ways of the five. In order to relinquish jealousy and greed from any decision making, a Highpriest Of The Chosen taught at Ahl'Castelle, shall always be the right hand of any lord of the order.
