Tip Of The Vale
At the end of the "Mistvale", in the mouth of an enormous cave, stands a gorgeous castle, made of seven towers stretching all the way to the top of the opening. The construction of the Tip was the longest lasting out of any establishment known to us and took almost 3 generations of masons and builders, to finally lay the last stone. Finished in "247 A.IW" in the name of the Kehl'Run Bank, as the house who ordered the construction, ended in too much debt and ha to sell the castle to the bank in Karag'Ha, leading to the Battle Of The Tip.
The current lord of "The Tip" Herrick Averon's ancestor, "Leroyn Averon" got the great castle gifted by the order of nine, for his efforts in protecting the western shores from the invading mercenaries send by the Karag'Ha.
Inhabitants
The keep itself only houses the Averon family and their servants, yet the rule of the Lord spreads to many thousand people, as the "Mistvale" is one of the most populated parts of Metrif. An agricultural gem is hidden in the fog that covers the entire valley, as even in the dry seasons the low hanging clouds provide all the plants needs to grow without dimming the sun. With the Official Faith in the region being the Chosen Ones, the old religion practiced by the previous occupants has almost faded into extinction, leaving only a handful of devoted "Witches" to still send their prayer to the Brewing Matron. As the vale is surrounded by an impenetrable wall of mountains with very few roads leading to and from the Capital of "Ahl'Khun Astu", the valley has for many years stayed under same Rule and been able to keep their culture and traditions somewhat intact. Like their way of harvesting, using the giant vulturelike birds native to the land, or the "Mistival" a week long celebration each year for the mist that blows life onto their crops, where the entire sky is lit up by fireworks, which light lingers in the fog, creating one of the most magnificent sights many will ever see.
