The Ledge
On the tallest cliffside in the northern part of the "Elu'Rar Ridges" Built upon a natural overhang is "The Ledge", one of the oldest keeps in the realm, yet so
majestic and well maintained it could be the youngest. For these ridges are home to the human part of the Stonemason's Guild and so, skillful builders are abundant in these parts. Even with its enormous size the keep tricks the eye, for underneath, the walls poking out the cliff, is several kilometers of underground cave systems. During the Reign of Ahl'Khun Ham'Ru, when the dwarven stonemasons resided in Elrond, they were tasked with carving out and reinforcing all the tunnels and caves, which since has been made into a small underground city called "The Town Under". It is not known under whos command the great castle was erected.
The Lord Of The Ledge
"House Ramley" has ruled the region of Elu'Rar since the "Reformation" during The Light's Revolution. They have been idolized by the people of the ridges for as long as they've sat the throne in "The Ledge" and the current lord "Berron Ramley" is no exception. In fact he is often referred to as "King Of Elu'Rar" and is well known for having the most loyal soldiers among the houses of Metrif.
