Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Humans are typically neutrally observed by most people.
Elves often see humans as tragic, short lived but endlessly ambitious. They pity them, and unless they can break through the inevitable loss that the elf will feel, they are unlikely to be friends.
Dragonborn are often sick of them, humans fascination with the unknown naturally leading to fascination about the dragons.
Gnomes, as teachers and storytellers, often find themselves employed as tutors to entire human lines, and make friends with families at a time.
Halflings and humans get on famously. Similar to gnomes, they tend to befriend human bloodlines instead of humans, but they still get on well and often share recipies.
Tieflings have a split opinion in most human circles, either seeing them as incredibly similar, or dangerous monsters.
Dwarves and humans get on really well, both being part of the Mountainhead religion. Dwarves enjoy the company of skilled humans and humans like their stout warrior smith friends.
