Grand Pyramid of the Trinary Will

The Grand Pyramid of the Trinary Will is perhaps the single greatest work of Iolar artifice, challenged only by The X and the extensive terraforming effort of the Moonspire. It is unquestionably the most impressive terrestrial edifice in Iolar controlled space and is a monument to rival the Imperial Palace of Terra in its grandeur. Unlike the latter, however, the Grand Pyramid has not been modified to account for the terrible necessities of war. Within its enormous architecture are cities unto themselves full of the faithful and members of the clergy. Thousands of individual basilicas, over a hundred museums, a similar number of hospitals as well as amphitheaters, environment preservation modules, transient accommodations, and all manner of private offices, libraries, archives, and laboratories; all are contained within a cyclopean triangular pyramid of alloy and glass.   As befits the premier monument of the Trinary Will, the Grand Pyramid is also always improving. Wings undergo substantial renovation as new technologies and architectural techniques are perfected and donations sway the priorities of the clergy. It is likely the single greatest concentration of classical scholarly research in Iolar society and disciplines not directly monetized by the Fabricator Enclaves are cultivated within its august walls.    The Pyramid is also the center of the church's nominal administration, with registers for all clergy and archives nearly as extensive, and far more esoteric, as those found in the Brass Citadel. Petitions and purchases of castrati servants are all catalogued directly with the church, with only supplementary tax and logistics disclosures made to the Alloministry. This has prompted much rumormongering about the role and reach of Emeter within the Pyramid's walls. Many, and some say most, of the records available in the secure cloisters are not digitally available and access is so tightly restricted that it would take a monumental act of espionage to even begin to investigate the deep archives.
