The Seven Kingdoms

The Seven Kingdoms lie in the super-continent of Danuria. Each of the seven kingdom is lead by a merchant-king, and each kingdom specializes in a specific trade that sets them apart from the rest.
  The advisor of each merchant-king is also a member of the Danurian Council, which was formed to be a diplomatic and administrative organization independent of the seven kingdoms. The Danurian Council governs trade and diplomatic relations between the kingdoms, enforcing national policies and resolving disputes between the kingdoms.
  The Danurian Council also oversees the Danurian Adventuring Company, or DAC. The DAC acts as a neutral third party that provides its services to the entirety of the seven kingdoms, usually completing quests that require a level of skill or expertise beyond what is available within the kingdoms themselves. Almost all adventurers are employed by the DAC, and they are generally well-respected by the public.
