Rama

The Rama people are a group of desert dwellers on the West coast of Meithos, in the Zawilah desert. Their people originate from the Pre-Nomadic Age where Meithans established an ancient settlement in Mt. Cassidian. However due to an eruption in those days (Mt. Cassidian is now dormant) the settlement the survivors were left to wander in the desert in the south. They eventually adapted and by the Age of Iron they organized a religion based on the myth of one of the survivors who wandered the desert. A Caliphate was formed under this religion and those who rebelled faced gruesome punishment. One of the most significant being, to be banished in the smoldering sands of the Zawilah, others being executed. Eventually by the Age of Knowledge they attempted to expand their territory east being met with resistance by the Njomba. When Chaos occured they fled from the coast seeking shelter in the Halls of Cassidian, and when they reemerged, they revitalized their religion and reclaimed their territory. Their relations with the other cultures have been peaceful ever since but not internally as infighting between factions have arisen.
