Vikhol
A barbaric people living on the northern part of the Ventillian peninsula, The Vikholian people are a winter-tested people, that thrived in the Pre-Nomadic age as whalers and hunters of polar fauna. It is known that at the time, they lived alongside the Titans, mysterious humanoid creatures that towered above the average human, with superstrength and beyond human durability. It is believed that the Vikhols are the descendants of a people blessed by the Gods of Gladshiem with this power, and those who were born from the human and a titan were Goliaths, a people long lost to time. The Vikholian people are descendants of their tradition and the beliefs in their pantheons. Ever since the dawn of the age Vikhols have waged war with each other in an attempt to become jarls over the realm, with every tribe represented by a different jarl. This eventually stopped however as they explored in the Ironclad Age for more hunting grounds. While exploring east into the mainland they clashed with Wiegen people who were a people of loose pantheistic tradition that opposed that of the Vikhols. The conflict with the Wiegen would escalate into a greater war as the Dwarven Kingdom the Osman Empire rose and stood by its side in the 8th century BC. The Vikhols stood against the Osmans until the 4th century when the leader of Forlrlǫggarðr Clan was killed in combat and his son was captured. It was then that both sides came to a truce, albeit with resentfulness. In the Age of Chaos, after a gate opened in the Southern mountains, an invasion of extra dimensional beings began on the western coast. The Vikohls were overwhelmed, same as the Osmans, and retreated to the forests, where they defended against the Feithan invaders. When they reemerged, they were the same albeit more survival savvy, and more knowledgeable of the arcane.
