Cult of the Deep Lake
The Cult of the Deep Lake is a cult centered around the Lady of the Deep Lake, a shared hallucination seen by those who bathe in the waters of the Deep Lake for at least an hour. The Lady appears the same to everyone, and is a sympathetic ear to listen to your woes, without judgement. The Cult of the Deep Lake is centered in Deep Lake City, and focuses on coven style rituals.
Structure
The Cult of the Deep Lake functions similar to a traditional Coven, with older, more experienced members having a greater say. Structure is not as strict as other organisations.
Assets
The Cult of the Deep Lake has a Church in Deep Lake City as well as their shrines around the Deep Lake itself, mostly due to the structural issues linked to having a church in a lake.
Leadership of the Cult of the Deep Lake:
Head Witch Clara: As a young girl Clara was orphaned, and, in between begging on the streets and stealing food to survive, she spent her time at the Deep Lake. Clara is very open about her experiences as a child, and how the Lady of the Deep Lake was her mother-figure. When Clara grew old enough, the Lady began teaching her magic, specifically ritualism, and Clara used this knowledge to start selling her services to the people of Deep Lake City, then known as Deep Lake Village. Repairing small objects or setting small magic alarms, cleaning, etc. In her downtime, Clara would teach what she knew to the other orphans, and began talking about the Lady of the Deep Lake. It wouldn't be long before Clara was the head of her own coven. Now, hundreds of years later, Clara is the head of the Deep Lake Coven. She has seen Cities rise and fall.
