The Still Realm, known also as The First World, The Great Beyond, The Great Forest, or The Realm of Creation, is the vast and unending realm where the Dium were created and reside. It exists outside of, and simultaneously with, the Changing Realm.
The Still Realm was created in time immemorial during what is called the "Dawn Age", and formed when the Great Will consumed the chaotic Void. From this event, all things were born forth from the Great Will. According to legends and myths of those who have projected outside of the Changing Realm, the Still Realm does not age nor move. Its tree do not wither or die, but also do not sprout and bloom. They merely exist as eternal concepts.
Climate
The Still Realm's climate is strange to most. The air is in a state of perpetual calm, where it is neither hot nor cold but merely is. People who walk amongst the Still Realm claim that the air itself feels that it is part of them, that they are more aware of their surroundings because of it. Furthermore, even in the presence of deserts or snowfields, the temperature does not change, the ground does not burn nor chill the person as they images merely act as concepts.
History
The Dawn Age
During the Dawn Age, long before recorded history or even the creation of the Changing Realm, there existed two entities. The Great Will, who represented all things that were; and the Void, who represented everything that was not. The two lived in harmony and balance, until an event - unknown to any man - occurred. The Great Will and the Void turned on each other and the Void was consumed by the Great Will. In this act, a tremendous burst of energy occurred and the Void was filled with all things created by the Great Will until the Void was no more.
