Juldoolmonsolop

Juldoolmonsolop is an infamous underdark city of Kuo-Toa - spoken of all the way to Kyspar City at the entrance near The Silk Lake and The Gahara - located within Ru'Than by the Wyvern's Neck Bay which leads out to the Undersea..

THE VAULT SHRINE OF THE KUO-TOA

The Vault Shrine of the Kuo-Toa is an hard to reach cavern, containing the infamous Kuo-Toa City of Juldoolmonsolop, on the West Shore of the Wyvern's Neck Bay that leads to the Undersea (The Sunless Sea). The Kuo-Toa of the city worship and protect the Aboleth named Juldool.
* Kuo-Toa also known as Gogglers and Men-Fish - warm-blooded and amphibious creatures - fanatics plagued by mental instability
Walking up a hundred and sixty steps is a hanging shrine - within a stunning gleaming although sinister gem hangs. Within the shrine is a ledge to inch around to place offering above the shore of the Wyvern's Neck Bay. The Vault Shrine of the Kuo-Toa is one of the most spectacular and awe-inspiring locations in any part of the Underdark.
From there, the path leads to the small Kuo-Toa seaside city where the Vault Shrine hangs above Wyvern's Neck Bay that reaches the Undersea. The small city is surrounded by numerous fungi of varying sizes, crystalline columns, and immense spans of lichens and molds.

A cluster of thirteen moisture-laden caverns, crusted with salt made up the majority of the city, with a fouteenth and fifteenth caverns in the center of them all. These two central caverns lie back to back, and are both nearly twenty hundred feet long and half as wide. There is a Sacred Pool of the Juldool in the main square of each of the two central caverns. Five rows of stone benches encircle each of the two sacred pools - the entire cavern is covered with brilliant coral, gemstones, shells and stones polished to a shine and glisten.
Within each pool a young Aboleth has surfaced from the depths, in the past. At the centre, of both pools, rose a massive 70  feet ziggurat of polished rock - on top is an Aboleth statue of carved from Jasper and Quartz.

A moat of murky liquid surrounds each pool - Water sources within are supernaturally foule - Enemies of Aboleths (any non-Kuo-Toa) that drink such water excessively vomit it within minutes.

The River of Monpopo is a saltwater waterway that connected all of these caverns. The waters originated in sea caves along the Wyvern's Neck Bay - coming in from the Undersea.

THE SALTED Tiefling

Inn and Drinking Tavern
Owner = Wossajoorg - Kuo-Toa - totally crazy; he believed once was the ruler of the city and over a vast empire in Ru'Than - Wossaajoorg sees all creatures as fellow kuo-toa (whatever they really were) - In his rare moments of lucidity, when he saw other creatures in their true form, he considers them as enemy infiltrators and ordered them hang from the entrance porch beams.

THE SPIDER'S BUCKLE

Drow Drinking Tavern
Owner = Clarietto Spinlenak - female Drow - looks young - has six adopted Drow children (aged 4 to 16 years old)
Only Drow from the Sisterhood of The Vault Shrine of the Kuo-Toa guards and their families be served - strangers entering are given 5 minutes to leave, or loose a finger.
The tavern's menu is designed around the Drow palate - consists entirely of seafood. A salty wine, made from the waters of the River of Monpopo, mixed with fish oil and the juice from fermented mushrooms, is the house specialty.

Government

Wasoorg has served as Priest-King (known as Sorg-Joolgol) of the city for the last 5 years. She is served by the Priest-Dukes (Sorg-Joolgoopan) from each of the fifteen caverns - who acted as both her advisory council and governors of various aspects of Kuo-Toan life.
The three most powerful of these were:-
+ Bajorlgajoop, who was responsible for the city's fisheries
+ Viboolgoojoorg was in charge of trade
+ Jabupgajool was the city's war leader
* The other eleven Priest-Dukes governed agriculture, beautification, mining, crafting, art, pilgrims, sacred places, traditions, slavery, midwives, and youth.

Ruling over the king and his dukes though, the Aboleth named Juldool (desendant of Joaloor - who formed the Underdark.
Very decision is guided Juldool and their offspring.

Defences

The entrance to Juldoolmonsolop is walled and gated, with six strong towers along its length. Behind this wall is where the military of the Sisterhood of The Vault Shrine of the Kuo-Toa protect the city and the Vault Shrine. The Sisterhood is a society of female Drow warriors (who wear dark grey armour with navy capes) and have Giant Spider companions – they are paid by the Kuo-Toa’s five noble houses, yet truly only swear allegiance only to Lolith.

A police force consisting of fifteen groups (one each cavern) of fifty locals monitor known as Joolib, deal with internal issues - led by Commander Porplarhajoon

Industry & Trade

The kuo-toa harvest various crustaceans, fish and mollusks from the waters of Wyvern's Neck Bay and the bravest go into the Undersea - collecting pearls and shells as byproducts and creating scrimshaw too. They also farm inky black kelp and plentiful salt. In addition, to what they take from the waters, they also mined ores and gems from the rock (until the tunnels flooded).
