Irodmere
It is said that in the distant past, Irodmere was a small fishing village and the home of the Arch Wizard Del'Tarr. Whether or not that is true, today its is the capital of the Del'Tarr region and seat of the Alliance. Set on the coast of the Bay of Wolves and surrounded by tall, sturdy walls, Irodmere is a central trading post for the Alliance.
Demographics
In all of the Alliance, Irodmere is said to have the most diverse population. While the ruling class is largely high-elves, the rest of the city has a remarkably even distribution of the other races of mankind
Government
Castle Del'Tarr is the central point of governance for not only the city, but the region at large. it is also where the Alliance holds counsel. City and state both keep their own counsel with the Grand Marquess overseeing state and Alliance matters while her husband, Governor Woodsong, handles matters pertaining only to the city. A joint counsel is held once a month to discuss matters that pertain to both equally. While the counsel of the Grand Marquess is largely made up of those in or connected to the Del'Tarr family, the Governor's counsel is composed of important figures within the city who, for the most part, do not have direct connections to the family.

Oversees trade within the city and across the Del'Tarr region. Those wishing to do business within the city must purchase a trade license from the guildmaster Alma Wendford. Alma has a number of Trade Commissioners under her who oversee the other towns and settlements as well as negotiate trade with the other regions.
Builder's Guild
Oversees the construction of new homes and businesses, as well as maintaining the roads and walls within the city. construction of new buildings may only be done by permit.
Crafter's Guild
A collection of craftsmen of all walks. Carpenters, smiths, masons, alchemists, herbalists, and others. while they hold little political influence, members enjoy mutual security by banning together to stamp out potential competition. Guildmaster Ryla Sylvanar uses her family's connection to the Marquess's Council to keep members informed of changes to the law as well as when the best supplies are due to come into town.
Astral Academy
A school for the study and practice of magic. Wizards and sorcerers from all over the Alliance come here to learn and hone their craft. Many believe that the city owes its prosperity, in part, to the presence of the academy.
Ivory Temple
The largest temple to The Five south of the sacred lands. The main sanctuary branches off into several smaller rooms containing shrines to the other gods as well, with an especially well kept shrine to Alya.
