Leader of the Del'Tarr Region and figurehead of the entire Alliance, Alyanna Moonweaver Del'Tarr came into power when her father abdicated the throne. Though she was the second born, her older brother Armateth renounced his claim in order to pursue his own interests. Of the Nine Lords, she is the only one with a proven claim to the bloodlines of the ancient heroes, tracing her lineage all the way back to the Arch-Wizard Del'Tarr. She is seen as overly cautious by the other lords, and expects an attempt to overthrow her. As such, she employs a network of spies who report on the goings on in the other regions. She appears to have a good relationship with only one other lord, Marquess Islor, who is her husband's uncle.
While in court or at counsel she presents a warm and gentle persona. while this side of her is not an outright lie, it masks an almost cold pragmatism that places tangible results in front of personal feelings. many who see her pragmatic side mistakenly believe her to be uncaring. In reality, she cares not only for the good of her own people, but for all of Elothra. Her ultimate goal, though she sees it as an impractical dream, is to foster peace and understanding between the Alliance and Lagorn.
