The Five
Before the continent of Elothra existed, it is said there was only Chaos and Order. The two equal but opposing forces were locked in a delecate dance to maintain balance for eons. Their dance gave rise to the five creators who, in turn, crafted the lands that would become known as Elothra. With their children now watching over this plane, Chaos and Order departed to continue their dance across other planes. Some religious schollars believe that they left shards of their essence behind and it was a conflict over these shards that brought about the Great Cataclysm.
The creator deities, known collectively as The Five, are worshiped all throughout Elothra. But worship of The Five is drastically different between the The northern empire of Lagorn, and the southern Del'tarim Alliance. This devision in divine ideals is the sourse of much of the discourse between the two powers. Few remain who know the true nature of The Five, and they are often regarded as heretics.
