    Battles between the two rival factions intensified with Central Iberrios and the surrounding areas as their battleground. This lasted until Union President, Ambrosia Highmore, called upon the ancient decree of Brisbanium which called for an uncontested year long stalemate.

    On the way to Hecht, the party encounters an Eleven noble, Lord Melchior Greenleaf, who invites them to the Eleven Capital of Faerun, as well as a member of an Assassin's Guild known as the Reach. By interfering with their "mark", the group has now made themselves a powerful enemy.

The group had sacked and set fire to a Federation refugee camp, where Rhorn was reunited with his child(Dexter), and wife(Abigail), as well as rescuing a host of Peche villagers among others.

    The party, with family and friends in hand, make the return journey back to Labrie to drop them off so they can be sailed to the Amethyst Isle. Along the way they encountered their first Trago, a merchant's guild trading vessel, that travels throughout Iberrios looking to buy and sell goods.

    On the return trip to Labrie, the weather turned sour with torrential rains. Along the way they had encountered young Federation soldiers requesting assistance rescuing citizens of a flood hamlet. The party agreed to help and was able to rescue the entirety of the hamlet and their dog. At the conclusion, the villagers agreed to join the group on their return trip to Labrie.

    After almost four weeks of battle, hardships, and travelling, the party returns back to Labrie with the friends and family they had long sought after. They had summoned the Sea Hagg that would arrive in four days to transport the new citizens of the Amethyst Isle to their new homes.

    Soon after returning to the Amethyst Island, the party discovers they are not alone on the island. It turns out the surrounding forests are inhabited by native wood elves led by Lord Luthien while underground, there are Drow led by Lord Claremont. It soon becomes apparent to the party that they have stumbled into an age long conflict between the island’s elven factions to which there might not be a peaceful resolution.

    In searching for a peaceful resolution to the impending threat of civil war on the Amethyst Isle, the party decides to invoke the ancient Elven tradition of the Terra Trial, a one-on-one battle to the death between two combatants. The winner of the trial is the victor but also grants a dying wish of his slain opponent. Both combatants have to agree to the terms of the Terra Trial. The entire event is made heaven binding by an impartial third party, in this instance the group.

    After the conclusion of the Terra Trial, the party finds itself in a unique situation. Through a passing suggestion by Zhorn to the departed Lord Luthien, Zhorn finds himself now in a leadership position as the new head of the island’s wood elves. The following day, Zhorn is introduced to his subjects and gives a rousing speech laying out his plans for his rule. This event and speech were received with mixed reviews.

    The Deathlands and Other Mysteries
    Discovery, Exploration

    Another mystery that the party uncovered was a section of land in the southeast portion of the island known as the Deathlands, a region of earth that is said to be cursed and devoid of any life. Its epicenter was Gramoral or the Village of Blight. Upon further investigation the party discovers a tree of darkest night that appears to have taken root in the village, and its roots have spread to cover the entire region causing the large area of blight. Although its origin is unknown, the elven scholars believe it is feeding on the magic from the leylines. Furthermore, throughout their exploration the party discovers four abandoned human towns scattered across the island.

    With the major conflict of the island being resolved, the party find themselves with some free time. Upon the Priestess’ discovery of a map of the island within the keep mixed with a general sense of curiosity about their surroundings the party takes some time to explore the island. Throughout the week of exploration, the party finds that there is more to the island than just a conflict with the elves.

    The party having accomplished so much in such a short time after their escape from captivity finally have time to relax and celebrate their first festival, The Festival of Misandril, a celebration and a thanksgiving to the Earth Mother for all her bounty. It also marks the beginning of the last phase of their journey in becoming recognized as a fully-fledged nation. Each member of the party celebrates in their own way whether it be with friends, family, or ale, or a combination of all three.
