Red Week

The Red Week was a major economic crash from day 18-23 of the Month of the Veil in 1332, following the death of Tshakuksuha, the seemingly immortal emperor of Khahlanong Hlusa Mfa. When they were killed, the Khahlanong Provisional Council scrambled to maintain control, but they were unable to prevent a financial crash. In the Mlollbof Stock Exchange, the week opened with investors selling stocks off at an alarming pace, their fear of a collapse becoming a vicious cycle that would cause the Economic Forum Average to drop by 47% by the end of the week. Khahlanong had long been the financial capital of the world, and their death caused a ripple effect that shook the pillars of Duurn.

The aftermath of the Red Week saw the collapse of Khahlanong hegemony and the decline of the Humanist League. A wave of social unrest and revolution swept across Duurn, and the instability led to the rise of new world powers like the Imperial Jiderani Union and the Avant-Garde State of Halar. Eventually, this upset in the balance of power would lead to the cataclysmic Last War, fought between the Rising Powers Pact and the fracturing Humanist League.
