Southeast Chain

The Southeast Chain was a high mountain plateau before it was inundated. Having the most temperate and mildest weather of the Thousand Seas the Southeast Chain is the source of aromatic woods and spices. The last stop on the cycle of trade around the Grand Calm before reaching the Golden Path to Nexus, the Southeast Chain is a source of much profit to traders.

Geography

Once a high desert mountain range before it was inundated, the Southeast Chain is full of shallow seas and reefs.

Politics

Originally colonized during the outward expansion of the tribes of the Western Spur. While they come from a shared culture, separated from their origin for hundreds of years they have diverged. Commerce has become a way of life, with the focus on cash crops and relying heavily on imported food and fishing.
