Humans
Basic Information
Anatomy
Humans are a bipedal, warm-blooded primate species distinguished by their upright posture, versatile hands, and complex brain. Their physical design reflects a balance between endurance, dexterity, and adaptability, making them capable of thriving in diverse environments.
Humans often come in different shapes and sizes, some do not always follow the norm due to deformities in skeletal structure or other problems that can arise. It is also noted that some are stronger than others, depending on the culture of the world, they can be found as labourers, elite warriors, gladiators and the likes. In some cases they can also be taller than normal, a rare thing for many to see so they often get called giants even though they are humans and have no relation to the giants of the frozen North.

Genetics and Reproduction
Human reproduction follows a slow, deliberate pattern shaped by high parental investment and extended development. Their genetic system emphasizes diversity and adaptability, allowing humans to thrive in changing environments while maintaining a unified biological identity.
Reproductive Pattern
Conception: Occurs when a male gamete (sperm) successfully unites with a female gamete (egg).
Gestation: The human embryo develops over roughly nine months (~38–40 weeks).
Birth: Typically occurs between weeks 37–42, with slight variations normal across populations.
Infancy: The first 12 months, marked by rapid growth and neural development.
Childhood: Ages 1–12, a period of gradual physical and cognitive expansion.
Adolescence: Ages 12–18, when puberty reshapes the body and reproductive capability matures.
Adulthood: Reproductive peak generally occurs between ages 20–35, though humans can parent at much older ages depending on health and environment.

Ecology and Habitats
Humans have adapted to the many environments of Earth yet the most Northern and Southern points of the world are unliveable for humans yet things do live there. From the highest mountains to the scorching deserts, humanity finds a way to live in places where it seemingly looks too harsh. Each group of humans have adapted their clothing, building and food to their environment for the best chances of survival in those places.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Humans are omnivores and will eat a mix of plants and meats in their diets. They have specialist groups for gathering food such as hunters, farmers, herders, and fishermen. They will store their food in granaries, smoke meats/salt meats and in some places use the ice to protect their food from spoilage. Many human homes have underground food storage areas.
Additional Information
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Humanity can be found across the whole of Earth, the vast majority of humanity live on the supercontinent, where most of the major Empires and Kingdoms are. However there are more humans in the Western Continent and the islands of the Great Sea but contact with the other major human groups is very limited or have no contact at all.
