So, late start, I know, I know. Still, better late than never! And I got a good chunk of writing done the past couple days too. I decided in the middle of writing the Infernal Eye Network article that I was going to restructure the worldbuilding articles to be written by an in-universe researcher known simply as "The Author". Because fuck it, why not? Pretending to be an exasperated researcher just trying to get straight answers from conflicting sources has been a great way to stretch my writing muscles, along with my worldbuilding ones!Infernal Eye Network
Yes, the Infernal Eye Network is starting to get updated! It fit well with the prompt regarding an organization with controversial principles, and it was one of the most developed parts of Chardovil before archiving. This article is still a massive Work In Progress, but it's got a solid start!Spaghetti & Meatballs
This one probably seems pretty random for a mythical food if you're new here, but what better answer than the God of Death's favorite food that nearly eliminated from the West because of the apocalypse? I had a lot of fun with this one and have lots of points I can keep worldbuilding from!14 July
I'm tired as hell so I'll make this one short: Kaedessa's updated and I've started the article for how Chardovil fits into a wider multiverse. That one's a huge work-in-progress but it's "Good Enough" for now. I kinda stretched that prompt ("A transformation caused by a celestial body") but I wanted to write about how Chardovil got ripped from the Material Plane so that's what I did. Whether it happened 'cause of a god or a meteor blowing off a chunk of the planet is up to your setting.17 July
Two articles done today! The first one was sorta a challenge mode for me. Trying to figure out what the hell to write about that would be a staple across all of Chardovil's classes, regions, and eras was tricky, but I settled on ye ol tried and true Stew! The second one I hit my stride on and wrote about a Harvest Festival where the participants throw paint on each other! That one was a super fun write and I definitely want to add to it more later!It's been a few days since I last wrote, but I'm still doing pretty good! The prompts this Summer Camp aren't quite giving me huge bursts of inspiration the moment I look at them, but that's not always a bad thing! I never would've made Chardovil's academics watching the chefs fight about what a Stew is and basically eating popcorn the entire time. It was a fun write!
